Webflow 2025 Complete Pricing Guide

Webflow is certainly one of the best solutions for creating custom and complex websites, but dealing with the new rates and options made available at the end of 2024 can be complicated. Miramedia has decided to collect and summarize all possible information in this article which, given its length, I would call a real one. Webflow Pricing Guide for 2025.

This guide offers a detailed analysis of Webflow's pricing structure, illustrating not only the options available, but also the reasons that justify the choice. Each plan will be reviewed to understand how they interact with each other and what limitations it is essential to consider.

In addition, strategies will be presented to optimize expenses, ensuring that users can make more informed and beneficial decisions based on their specific needs.

Understand how Webflow's 2025 price list works

It is important to consider Webflow's pricing structure, which is distinguished by its complexity. Unlike simpler platforms with a single plan, Webflow divides its pricing model into specific components, designed to meet the needs of various users, from individual site owners to agencies with multiple clients.

The three fundamental components of Webflow's pricing are:

  • Site Plans: Cost to publish and host a website (therefore includes Hosting, SSL certificate, CDN, Forms, Backups, etc.)
  • Workspace plans: the Workspace is the environment for creating and managing projects with the Webflow no-code platform
  • Additional Components: Additional features and resources to improve website capabilities

This distinction is critical, as users may need both types of plans based on their usage. (continue to the end of the article to see some concrete examples)

Webflow Site Plan: Which One Is Right For You?

Webflow static site plans and dynamic plans (CMS Collections)

Webflow offers five levels of Site Plans, each designed for specific uses:

Starter (Free)

This plan is ideal for those who want to learn Webflow or test ideas. It includes:

  • Hosting your webflow.io domain
  • 2 pages
  • 50 CMS elements
  • 1 GB of bandwidth

Although limited, it serves to explore the potential of Webflow before upgrading to a paid plan. It is not suitable for professional websites due to the webflow.io domain constraint and reduced functionality.

Basic ($14/month)

Intended for simple static websites, this plan offers:

  • Custom domain support
  • 150 pages
  • 10 GB of bandwidth
  • Forms included
  • Protection against traffic peaks

It's ideal for showcase sites that don't need dynamic content (linked to DB). So we won't have the CMS Collections, since the plan is aimed at those looking for a professional presence without frequent content updates.

CMS ($23/month)

This is where Webflow's Dynamic Content Management features come into play. The plan includes:

  • 150 Static pages
  • 20 CMS collections (i.e. 20 DB)
  • 2,000 CMS elements (i.e. 2000 items per DB)
  • 50 GB of bandwidth
  • Forms Included
  • Site search functionality (a real internal search engine)

The CMS plan is perfect for content-focused websites, such as blogs, portfolios, or news. The presence of 20 CMS collections allows you to create advanced content structures, such as separate collections for articles, team members, projects, and case studies.

Business ($39/month)

This plan is not only an expanded version of the CMS plan, but it is designed for websites that need greater flexibility and advanced functionality:

  • 300 Static pages
  • 40 CMS collections
  • 10,000 CMS elements (expandable with additional packages)
  • 100 GB of bandwidth (expandable with additional packages)
  • Advanced Form functionality with the possibility of uploading files by visitors-

It is essential to note that the Business plan, although starting with 100 GB and 10,000 elements, offers the possibility of expanding these limits through add-ons.

Webflow e-commerce plans

For those who want to sell products online, you will need one of Webflow's specialized Ecommerce plans. These plans are based on the features of the general site plans, adding crucial functionality for Ecommerce.

Standard ($29/month)

The entry plan for Ecommerce, which includes:

  • 500 articles
  • 2,000 CMS elements
  • 2% commission on transactions
  • All the features of the CMS plan

This plan is suitable for small stores that are just starting up. The 2% commission applies in addition to the expenses of payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal), covering the additional costs and infrastructure associated with managing an e-commerce platform.

Plus ($74/month)

Designed for growing stores:

  • 5,000 articles
  • 10,000 CMS elements
  • 0% commission on transactions
  • All the features of the Business plan

This plan is suitable for growing businesses. The absence of transaction fees eliminates additional costs in addition to the expenses related to payments, but it is important to consider the latter when estimating total expenses.

Advanced ($212/month)

Designed for established online businesses:

  • 15,000 articles
  • 10,000 CMS elements
  • 0% commission on transactions
  • Advanced Ecommerce Features

This plan is designed for large scale operations. Although there are no fees from Webflow, payment expenses must be taken into account when processing transactions, to ensure full coverage of all processing and infrastructure costs.

Workspace Webflow plans: what are they for?

This is where Webflow's pricing structure gets interesting... and sometimes a bit confusing 🤔. Workspace plans determine how you can create and manage your websites and fall into two main categories: Team plans and Freelancer/Agency plans.

Understanding the difference is critical to choosing the right plan.

Webflow Team work plans: for internal teams

Core (19€/month)

This plan is designed for small internal teams and includes:

  • 10 staging sites
  • 300 pages for each staged site
  • Ability to add custom code
  • A full Seat (1 Seat) included (information on the costs for extra seats available)

It's ideal for businesses that manage their online presence, where the team belongs to the same organization.

Growth (49€/month)

Designed for larger organizations, this plan offers:

  • Unlimited staging sites
  • Site-specific access controls
  • Publication permissions
  • Advanced collaboration capabilities

The main difference is not only the number of staging sites, but also the additional control capabilities that large organizations require for governance and compliance. In addition, the addition of additional seats involves additional costs.

Work plans for freelancers and agencies: for working with clients

Freelance and agency plans are specifically designed for professionals who create sites for clients. These plans integrate seamlessly with customer workflows and billing.

Freelancer (24€/month)

Perfect for independent professionals, this plan includes:

  • 10 staging sites
  • Full access to the CMS
  • Free access for guests to customer workspaces
  • Billing tools for customers

The most important functionality is the possibility of being invited to customer workspaces without the customer having to pay for additional seats. This is crucial for freelancers who need to work on customer accounts. If you want to add additional users, you will need to purchase additional seats.

Agency (42€/month)

Advanced features for agencies, including:

  • Unlimited staging sites
  • Advanced roles and permissions
  • Shared libraries
  • White-labeling options

The agency plan not only covers multiple staging sites, but also includes features specifically designed for team-based work with clients, such as design systems shared through the functionality of libraries. If you want to add more users, you must purchase extra seats.

Webflow freelancer and agencies plans explained

Choose between Team plans and Agency/Freelance plans

It's common to experience confusion when choosing between a Team plan and a Freelancer/Agency plan. The key lies in how you collaborate with others:

  • Team plans are designed for organizations where everyone works for the same company.
  • Freelancer/Agency plans are optimized for professionals who work with external clients.

The crucial difference? Freelancer/Agency plans include functionality to collaborate with multiple “hands” on the project, while Team plans focus on internal collaboration and governance.

Webflow seats: how do they work and how much do they cost?

Types of workstations and their functions

Webflow workstations are essential for managing access to functionality and projects. Depending on the plan chosen, the stations offer different capacities.

Full access stations (39$/month per seat)

Full-access workstations provide maximum control over the Webflow dashboard (in Designer Mode). Users can manage every aspect of projects and access all the functionality of the Webflow Designer. This option is ideal for team members who need to manage and develop 360-degree projects.

  • Full design capabilities
  • Workspace Management
  • Access to administration settings

Important note: Despite having multiple full-access workstations, team members can't work simultaneously on the same project without an Enterprise plan. This aspect often surprises users, since the workstations allow them to work on different projects in parallel, but not on the same one.

Limited access seats ($15/month per seat)

Limited access stations offer controlled permissions (a choice between Build, Marketer or simple Editor mode): depending on the mode chosen and therefore the degree of authorization given to the individual, users can modify texts and images and/or build pages using pre-designed components, but they do not have access to the complete design system (Designer mode). This option is appropriate for those who manage content without the need for advanced design skills.

  • Edit the contents
  • Component-based page construction
  • No access to the design system

Free seats

The free stations are designed for stakeholders and customers, allowing them to review and comment on projects without making direct changes. This system facilitates the collection of feedback without intervention on the project.

  • Review and comment only
  • Ideal for stakeholders and customers

It is important to note that, in both the Freelancer and Agency plans, a basic user station is included (to be used in Designer or Build mode). To add more users, it is necessary to purchase additional seats at the costs already described.

New Webflow add-ons in 2025

Webflow bandwidth expansion

Expanding bandwidth allows a website to handle more traffic, offering additional capacity for data transfer. This add-on is only available with the Business plan, which has a base cost of $39 per month.

To evaluate if more bandwidth is needed, you can use the simple formula: Average page size × Monthly visitors = Required bandwidth. For example, if the average page size is 1 MB and you expect 100,000 monthly visitors, the formula will result in 100 GB.

In the Webflow Dashboard there is a special section to monitor the degree of bandwidth usage and the assets that most affect consumption: this allows you to act on them to save bandwidth and to discover assets that are sometimes unnecessarily heavy or often not optimized due to laziness or forgetfulness by those who manage the contents.

Webflow CMS element add-ons

The Business plan initially offers 10,000 CMS elements. This capacity can be increased as needed:

Each expansion includes all the features of the Business plan, providing greater capacity for dynamic content needs.

Optional Webflow add-ons released in 2024

Webflow offers optional additions to improve the functionality and performance of a site. These tools are designed to optimize the user experience, analyze site performance, and effectively reach a global audience.

Optimize (starting at $299/month)

Optimize is an advanced suite that allows you to maximize conversions through quick analysis, personalized experiences for visitors and delivery supported by artificial intelligence. It is a very powerful tool that allows you to vary the content based on the characteristics of the users: imagine being able to show different Heroes or CTAs depending on whether a user is the first time they land on the page or if it is the third time they return. With Optimize it is possible to prepare strategies and actions that can then return detailed analytics. All in total compliance with Privacy regulations.

Optimize is the indispensable tool for companies that invest in advertising campaigns and that need to test and measure quickly to optimize the effectiveness of their Budget.

This component includes:

  • A/B testing: It allows you to compare different versions of the elements on the site to see which one works best.
  • Personalization features: It provides tailored experiences to visitors, adapting messages, content, offers and calls-to-action to different customer segments.
  • Optimizations with artificial intelligence: Use AI to improve variant performance and achieve faster results, allowing for timely decisions about what content to show to different audiences.

Analyze (starting at $29/month)

Analyze is an analysis tool that gives designers and content marketers a view of how visitors interact with a site, from the page level to specific click events.

Analyze offers insights on sites and pages directly within Webflow, without having to switch from one tool to another or navigate confusing third-party dashboards.

Analyze is a native Webflow feature, so you don't have to worry about your data being dispersed in third-party ecosystems. And for customers who need a specialized consent management platform (CMP), Analyze also integrates with leading solutions such as DataGrail and Finsweet Components.

  • Direct integration with Webflow: Eliminate the need for third-party analysis tools.
  • Information on user behavior: It provides a unified view of how visitors are interacting with the site, from page-level traffic to specific click events.
  • Performance monitoring: It allows you to keep track of key metrics to make informed decisions that improve site effectiveness

.

Localization (starting at $9/month per Local)

Webflow allows users to localize your websites to reach a global audience. The process includes the Definition of a primary room, like Italian with us for example, and the addition of secondary rooms, such as English, German or any other, each of which is already organized with a dedicated URL. Within each room, it is possible translate text, replace images, localize alt text and optimize SEO settings, ensuring that the contents are suitable for the target audience. Finally, Webflow publishes the site in different languages, making it accessible to users around the world.

Localizing a Webflow site allows you to adapt the content for a specific audience based on language or country. The process includes text translation, image localization, and SEO optimization.

The translation of the texts can take place in different ways:

  • Manually: You can translate the text manually, element by element.
  • Automatically: Webflow offers an automatic translation function to quickly translate all the text on a page with AI.
  • You can restore the original text at any time.

Choosing the right Webflow plan

here are some practical examples:

Example 1:  Website for Professionals / Small Business

Website with 4 static pages (Home-About Us-Services-Contacts) with Contact Form - Monolingual

Which license (Workspace) Webflow I have to choose: the Free Plan It's great for creating/managing up to 2 sites with the Webflow Platform (1 Seat)

Which Site Plan I have to choose: the Basic plan ($14/month) it's great because we only have static pages and it includes everything you need to publish on your domain.

Additional Components: none

Total Annual Cost = $168

Example 2: Small Business with Static Pages (Home-About Us-Contacts) + Dynamic Pages (Products/Services/Team/Blog) - Bilingual (ENG and ESP)

Which license (Workspace) Webflow: the Free Plan It's great for creating/managing up to 2 sites with the Webflow Platform (1 Seat)

Which Site Plan I have to choose: You need the CMS plan (23$/month) because we have Dynamic pages linked to the DB (CMS Collections) of the Products, the Services, the Team and the Blog with the News articles. It includes everything you need to publish on your domain.

Additional Components: Localisation (essential $9/month)

Total Annual Cost = 384$

Example 3: Company with Static Pages (many) + Dynamic Pages (miscellaneous) - ENG+ 4 Languages

Which license (Workspace) Webflow: the Free Plan it's great for creating/managing up to 2 sites with the Webflow Platform (1 Station) + 2 Stations (Seats) for Content Management in English and Locales (2 x Limited Seats $15/month = $30 /month)

Which Site Plan I have to choose: You need the CMS plan (23$/month) because you have Dynamic pages linked to the DB (CMS Collections) of the Products, the Services, the Team and the Blog with the News articles. It includes everything you need to publish on your domain.

Additional Components: Localisation (essential $9/month) x 4 languages ($18/month)

Annual Total Cost = 1068$

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Underestimate bandwidth needs: It's critical to calculate needs based on page size and expected traffic before selecting a plan. If the site exceeds the bandwidth limit for more than two consecutive months, it will automatically switch to an additional bandwidth plan.
  • Mistaken in understanding the limitations of collaboration on Webflow: It's important to note that multiple locations do not enable real-time collaboration on the same Webflow project; this is only possible with the Page Branching functionality available in Webflow Enterprise plans.
  • Select the wrong Webflow workspace type: It is essential to carefully evaluate whether your needs align better with the Team or Freelancer/Agency plans.

It is important to know that:

  • The Workspace is understood as the License you must have to access the Webflow no-code Platform and to Design and/or Manage your sites. In some cases, the Free License is sufficient because the Site is in many cases created by the Web Agency that then transfers it to your Workspace: you can manage and publish it, and for changes or upgrades you can allow guest access to your Webflow Agency or Freelancer.
  • Higher Workspace licenses are only for those who have many sites to manage (more than 2) or special needs.
  • Companies with teams that need to deal with the content will be able to add Seats and define the roles and responsibilities of the various employees.
  • International or multinational companies with branches will need not only the Localize add-on for managing language content, but also Branching, which allows them to work on new versions of pages, leaving the previous one live on the domain until the authorization to publish decided by a superior with the power to publish. Branching is included in Enterprise only plans.
